A.C. LeMieux featured in DEAR AUTHOR Letters of Hope

Around 2005, Dr. Joan Kaywell, long-time Professor of English Education at the University of South Florida and past president of the Assembly on  Literature for Adolescents (ALAN)  of the National Council of Teachers of English, compiled a collection of young adult readers' letters to YA authors and the authors' responses. I was honored to be included in this project of one of my most important mentors, who always says, "Books save lives."  DEAR AUTHOR Letters of Hope: top young adult authors respond to kids toughest questions, was published in 2007.
